System-Level Design Methodology Laboratory

Vision

Our vision is to conduct theoretical and practical researches on design methodologies for embedded and cyber-physical systems. Our current research focuses are on, but not limited to:

    • Design automation and optimization

      • Task scheduling

      • High-level synthesis

      • Approximate computing

      • Hardware security

      • Biochip synthesis

      • Delivery drone routing

    • Image processing

      • Security camera systems

      • Autonomous UAV flight

      • Behavior analysis for sports

Location and Access

Our laboratory is located in Rohm Plaza Building, Biwako-Kusatsu Campus (BKC), Ritsumeikan University.

Application Information for Foreign Students

We welcome foreign students who want to pursue a master or Ph.D. degree. Ritsumeikan University offers two degree programs:

    • Degree program offered in Japanese (admission in April)

    • Degree program offered in English (admission in September)
